My artist name is Caitlin Alejandre and I am a Mexican-American artist + illustrator. I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with my emphasis in illustration.

My work involves playful imagery filled with fun characters and peculiar details. I combine natural scenes with unnatural elements to create a balance between reality and fantasy- showing the wonderful and weird world we live in through my art.

My focus is on character design, picture book illustrations and design art. I work with traditional and digital mediums but also have experience in 3D digital sculpting, 2D animation and screen printing.

I am currently living in the Midwest with my wonderful husband, Hector, and our adorable cats!

​With a love for the outdoors, we spend our free time in nature hiking, kayaking and critter watching.
