My artist name is Caitlin Alejandre and I am a Mexican-American illustrator and concept artist. I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with my emphasis in illustration.

My work involves playful imagery filled with fun characters and peculiar details. I combine natural scenes with unnatural elements to create a balance between reality and fantasy- showing the wonderful and weird world we live in through my art.

My focus is on visual development, character design and design art. I work with traditional and digital mediums but also have experience in 3D digital sculpting + 3d printing, 2D animation and photography.
I am currently living in the Midwest (Chicagoland area) with my wonderful husband, Hector, and our adorable cats!

​With a love for the outdoors, we spend our free time in nature hiking, kayaking and critter watching.
